Many people have taken up new hobbies during the recent lockdown including gardening, yoga, photography, cooking and
maybe even learning to play an instrument. One of the hobbies taken up by both men and women is cross
stitching. Cross stitch which will keep you busy and you’ll get something nice to give to a friend or
hang on a wall at the end of it.
The most popular choice for those starting to cross stitch are small simple images of flowers or
animals. You can buy embroidery sets for beginners which include patterns, a hoop, scissors, thread
and needles as well as instructions to get you started, with prices ranging from £10 - £30. These are
fine for beginners, but those with lots of experience in cross stitch need something little more
challenging. Some have designed their own creations, others have stitched pictures based on
photographs, paintings and drawings, this is where we come in.
It’s never been easier, if you have a photograph of a favourite pet, holiday destination or even your child’s first drawing, you
can send it to us and for a small fee we will do all the hard work and create a cross stitch pattern for you. You can be as
ambitious as you like choosing to have a large cross stitch with hundreds of different colours
at a high fabric count, but be warned, it may be a nightmare to complete.
